In Uttarakhand, the pilgrimage to Chardham is proceeding smoothly. Since the initiation of the pilgrimage, more than 4,00,000 pilgrims have come to these four sacred sites. So far, Kedarnath has been visited by a maximum of 1.40 lakh pilgrims in the Char Dhams.

Special arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the worshipers by the relevant administration and the Temple Committee. On the routes of Char Dham Yatra, a medical checkup station has been set up by the Health Department.

In order to control the mob, the government has so far closed its website for registration of the Kedarnath Dham Yatra till June 15. One of India’s greatest holy places, the Kedarnath is visited by pilgrims from across the country for six months after its opening.
