Gangotri is one of the main Chardham of Uttarakhand and Gangotri National Park is going to open from April 1, 2022. For this purpose, the Gangotri national park officials have started their work to act upon it. After this news, the park officials will go for a survey of the preparations. Gangotri National Park was closed last year on November 2021 for the tourists, as that time winter has started.
In the last month, a lot of snowfall happened in this area. Every year, it is open for tourists as the summer season starts. The Gangotri national park has spread over an area of 1553 sq. km. You can find some rare species of wild animals, challenging treks and snowfall are always the main attractions for the tourists here.
The park officials have also mentioned in their statement, that on March 25, their team will conduct a final search/survey of the area as per their protocol, then it will be opened for the tourists.
