For the upcoming Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, the number of travelers registering online on the website of the tourism department is increasing rapidly. Till now more than one lakh pilgrims have registered for the Char Dham. This time a large number of pilgrims are expected to visit the Chardham Yatra.
The doors of world-famous Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham will be opened on Akshaya Tritiya on 03 May, Kedarnath Dham on 06 May, and Badrinath Dham on 08 May. This time the tourism department has made the system of registration mandatory keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims coming on the Chardham Yatra.
Keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims, this time along with the registration, QR code is also being issued to the passenger. This will not only track whether the registrant has made darshan or not but the pilgrims and their vehicles can be easily tracked. The QR code will be in the wristband given to the passengers, which will be scanned at each Dham. With this, the tourism department will know which traveler is where. Ever since the state government has made arrangements for online registration, there has been an increase in the number of pilgrims. The number of people registering is increasing every day.
