Nainital Zoo

Nainital zoo is developed by The Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude  Zoo Management  Society, Nainital. Nainital zoo was stablished in 1984  and open for visitors from 1st June of 1995. Nainital zoo maintenance funds comes from the entry fees.

How to Reach Nainital Zoo

Nainital zoo is connected by road and located at 2 km from Tallital Bus Station. Privated vehicle are prohibited in Nainital Zoo and one can reach at the zoo by Sharing  Jeep at Rs 30/- per person available from Mall Road.

Naina Devi Temple

Naina Devi Temple is well known Shakti Peeths of Hindu religion. Naina Devi Temple is sacred place of great devotion in Nainital.  Goddess in this holy temple is represented by her two eyes. Devotees from far away place comes here to take blessing of Maa Naina Devi.

It is recommended to visit Tiffin Top during day light since then one can have a proper view of the grangeur beauty of the kumaon. Tiffintop is a treat for both adults and children. However, adults are advised to accompany children while paying a visit to Tiffin Top.

Tiffin Top is located at 4 km from Mall Road of Nainital city. One can reach Tiffin Top by trek or on Pony from Nainital bus stand. Nearest railway station is at Kathgodam railway station(39 kms) and airport at Pantnagar airport(59 kms) or Delhi IGI airport.

Eco Cave Gardens

Eco Cave Gardens is manage by Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam. Its offers tourists and children a glimpse of Himalayan wildlife through several animal caves.
