Meanwhile, he said that the Uttarakhand government has taken initiative for Uniform Civil Code. We have also constituted a five-member committee under the leadership of retired judge Ranjana Prakash Desai by forming the committee.
We will be the first state in the country to implement Uniform Civil Code. So far 26 lakh people have come here in Char Dham Yatra. Yatra has broken all records. We will also make the coming Kavad Yatra historic. More than four crore devotees will reach here. The state government will welcome everyone. From place to place, the administration will take care of the Kanwar pilgrims. Tight security arrangements have also been made. Under the Parvatmala scheme in Uttarakhand, topways will be built at more than 35 pilgrimage and religious places. This will further strengthen our position in the field of tourism.
