The Kedarnath-Badrinath temple committee, which has the duty of all the tasks including worship in the Kedarnath temple, the same temple committee does not have its own place in the Dham since the 2013 Kedarnath flood. The office of the temple committee, the Rawal, and the chief priest’s residence, Bhogmandi, etc. are still managed on credit.
In Kedarpuri, including the maintenance and worship of the Kedarnath temple, all the arrangements are run by the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. The temple committee also has its own drinking water line and powerhouse. During the journey, the Rawal of the Dham, the chief priest, the executive officers, and employees of the committee stay in Kedarpuri only. About 60 staff members of the Kedarnath committee stayed here during the travel. Despite this, the temple committee is herewith without funds.
