Preparations for the third phase of travel in Kedarnath Dham, operation of heli services will start from September 5

Kedarnath News: The two-stage journey of the world-famous Kedarnath Dham has been duly completed and in these two phases more than one million pilgrims have reached Kedarnath Dham. Now the journey of the third phase has started.

Rudraprayag News: The Kedarnath Yatra of the first and second phases has been completed and the administration has started preparing for the third phase of the journey. The process of pilgrims coming to Kedarnath continues even in the rainy season and when the rains end, a large number of devotees are expected to reach Kedarnath. After the season opens, the operation of heli services to Kedarnath will also resume from September 5. All heli services will return to Kedar Ghati by September 5.

Two-phase journey completed

The two-stage journey of the world-famous Kedarnath Dham has been duly completed and in these two phases, a record more than one million pilgrims have reached Kedarnath Dham. Now the journey of the third phase has started and the administration has also started preparing for the third phase from its level. About nine lakh pilgrims have reached Kedarnath Dham in the first phase of the Yatra in the months of May and June. Whereas more than one lakh devotees have reached Kedarnath so far in the second phase of the Yatra and the monsoon season in the months of July and August.

The number of pilgrims coming to Kedarnath in a total of four months is beyond ten lakh and twenty thousand. There are still more than two months left for the third phase of the journey. On October 26, the doors of Kedarnath Dham are to be closed on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj. In such a situation, three lakh pilgrims are expected to come to Kedarnath now.

So far so many pilgrims have visited

Rudraprayag District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that so far more than ten lakh twenty thousand devotees have reached Kedarnath in Kedarnath Yatra. Monsoon season is also going on, but the process of arrival of travelers continues. Roads are also being closed due to heavy rains, but the district administration is monitoring every situation.

Two more months are left and it is expected that the number of passengers will increase. It is estimated that this time the travel figure will cross 13 lakhs, for which preparations have been made. The DM said that the arrangements for horses and mules will be taken during the third phase of the journey. Water, Chari will be seen and things that have been affected due to rain, those systems will be rectified.
