About Kedarkantha Trek
Kedarkantha is also know as Bal kedar and according to local people it is the part of kedarnath .It is said that when Shiva was wandering in his Bull avtar to hide from Pandavas on Kedarkantha local people disturbed his peace . That’s why shiva went underground when he came out of his hiding place ,he divided the body parts and each part fell at different places and his throat fell on Kedarkantha .Thus the name of this place also know as The throat of shiva .

How to reach Kedarkantha Trek
By road:-The distance between kedarkantha from delhi is around 452km by road .You will get many buses from delhi to dehradun. You have to take another bus from dehradun that will you drop you at Sankri. After reaching sankri, you can take a local taxi or bus to Kedarkantha.
By air:-You can take a direct flight to Jolly Grant airport, Dehradun from Delhi Airport. After reaching jolly Grant , you can hire a local taxi and buses to travel to Kedarkantha.
By train:-Kedarkantha doesn’t have its own railway station. You can start your train journey from delhi to Dehradun. You can take a local taxi or take a bus ride from dehradun to kedarkantha trek.
