LOCATION
The Kainchi Dham Temple is located 18 kilometers from Nainital city in the Bhowali district and is completely accessible by car. You may walk to the Kainchi Dham or take a cab.

ENTRY TYPE
There is no charge for visiting the Kainchi Dham Temple & Ashram. You may come here any day of the week, including public holidays, from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Kainchi Dham Temple is open daily from 6.45 a.m. until 8.30 p.m. On Tuesdays, it is open till 9.30 p.m.

TRAVEL TIPS FOR KAINCHI DHAM
- The temple is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and there is no entry fee.
- Winter clothes should be brought if you want to visit Kainchi Dham during the winter weather months, since it may be rather freezing there.
- There are places to stay both within and outside the ashram, however, due to severe winter cold, the ashram is closed for 4-5 months at a time. An inn outside the ashram is an 8-kilometer drive away in Bhowali. There are facilities in Nainital for those who desire to stay in a five-, four-, or three-star inn.
