About Nandaprayag
Nandprayag is one of Uttarakhand’s five sacred Panchprayag destinations, together with Dev Prayag, Karna Prayag, Rudra Prayag, and Vishnu Prayag. People travel to all five Prayags on this holy pilgrimage in the hopes of atoning for their sins and attaining moksha. Visiting Nandprayag will be an unforgettable experience because there is no other site in the world where you can experience spirituality like this. The fact that raja Nanda (for whom the confluence is called) had come here to perform a Maha Yajna adds to the significance. People also make a point of praying at the nearby Nanda temple, whose foundation stone is the slab on which the king performed the Yajna.
