You may take a bus, your car, or a leased automobile to make the roughly 30-kilometer journey from Guptkashi to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, you must take a local cab for about 6 kilometers to Gaurikund, you must walk for around 16 km to Kedarnath.
Note:- The climb to the temple begins at Gauri Kund, the last stop on the journey. The 16 km-long hikes may be completed in 5–6 hours. Anybody who cannot trek may hire a pony or palkis to transport them to the temple.
