In the year 2022, after the covid wave gets down, most of people are getting ready now for the Chardham yatra 2022, so after seeing this, the Civil Aviation Department has also started preparing for it. For this, arrangements are being available to open via online booking soon. The devotees can book heli services through the website of the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Authority (UCADA) as well as the tourism department.
In the year 2020 and year 2021, the Chardham Yatra was highly affected due to the covid wave, a small number of pilgrims took heli services last year. The good news is, this year the covid restrictions are very minimal. This time there is planning to set up a booking counter and help desk in Guptkashi too.
Secretary Civil Aviation Dilip Jawalkar said to the media about the preparations to initiate heli services. The booking for heli services to Chardham yatra 2022 will starts from April. Also, this year the fare for the heli services will not increase.
