Due to the daily increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, this time the Chardham Yatra has become costlier than last year. The operators of the tempo traveler (12 to 14 seats), which run at a large scale in the Yatra, have increased the fare by more than double. Fares for other vehicles have been increased by up to 40 percent.
