Badrinath-Kedarnath Committee passed a budget of 67.22 crores for Chardham yatra 2022

Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has passed a budget of 67.22 crores for the Chardham yatra 2022. In the meeting, Ajendra Ajay who is the chairman of the committee, many important decisions were taken by him along with passing the budget. A proposal to provide a cashless treatment facility on the golden cards to the permanent employees of the committee was also passed.

A total budget of 67.22 crores was passed in the meeting held in the BKTC office, out of which Rs 34.44 crores is proposed from Badrinath temple and 32.78 crores from Kedarnath temple. In the meeting, the preparations for the upcoming Badrinath and Kedarnath Yatra were also discussed.

The chairman of the temple committee told that at the western gate of Kedarnath temple is the throne of Lakshmi Narayan, which was damaged in the 2013 disaster. A silver throne will be designed with the help of a donor. Around Rs, 80 lakh will be spent on this, as per estimation taken.
