You may travel approximately 30 km by road from Guptkashi to Sonprayag in your car, a rented car, or a public bus. From Sonprayag you need to travel to Gaurikund via local taxi for about 6 km, then there will be a trek to Kedarnath of about 16 Km which must be done on foot.

Note – Gauri Kund is the vehicle’s last stop, and from here the trek to the temple starts. The trek is 16 km long and can be covered in 5-6 hrs. Anyone cannot trek, they can hire a pony, or palkis to reach the temple.

By Air – Anand to Kedarnath Distance:

Distance from Anand -> Ahmedabad -> Jolly Grant Airport -> via. Road Kedarnath is set at 962 km via Flight.

There is no direct flight from Anand to Kedarnath. From Anand first, you need to travel to Ahmedabad via taxi, rental car, bus, or train from there you can take a flight to Dehradun.
