Nine aviation companies will conduct heli services for the Kedarnath Dham. At the same time, a DGCA team of specialists will soon visit Uttarakhand to assess the safety requirements in the heli service’s operation.
A team of DGCA experts will visit Uttarakhand soon to assess the safety standards in the operation of the Kedarnath Heli service. The team will inspect the security arrangements at the helipads in Guptkashi, Phata, and Sirsi. Heli service will be available only with the DGCA’s licence.
The Kedarnath Temple will Open its Doors on May 6th
From May 6 to 20, heli service bookings were done a month in advance. Approximately 3500 tickets have been purchased on the internet. A heli service will transport 15 thousand passengers to Kedarnath. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has completed all of the necessary preparations for the heli service, however the Directorate General of Civil Aviation must provide some clearance (DGCA). After that, heli-service businesses will be permitted to operate.

From Guptkashi to Arrow Aircraft and Aryan Aviation, from Phata to Pawan Hans, Chipson Aviation, Thambi Aviation, and Pinnacle Air Company, and from Sirsi Helipad to Arrow Aircraft, Himalayan Heli, and Ketral Aviation, heli service will be available.
According to Civil Aviation Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, a DGCA team has been formed to verify the pilots of the Kedarnath Heli Service. On April 27, the committee will convene in Delhi. Following that, a DGCA team would travel to Uttarakhand to assess the heli service’s safety requirements.
There will be no Service Charge at Restaurants
The imposition of service charges at restaurants along the Chardham Yatra route has been prohibited. For devotees’ vehicles, parking will be provided in schools and institutions. Cars will be stopped in Rishikesh-Haridwar if the number of vehicles increases.
