History of Dodital Trek Uttarakhand:
According to old people our Lord Ganesha chose this place as his home. There is a temple of Lord Ganesha. the other name for this lake which is calling by people is “Dhundital” meaning Ganesh ji katal or lake of Lord Ganesha.
From Dodital the tourists can trek towards Darwa Top and they can cross their way towards Hanumanchatti in the Yamuna valley or turn ahead Chaka Gujjar hut area to cross the Bingad around and Bamsaru tall, Gidara, and Dayara Bugyals.

Your place to Jolly grant airport in Dehradun 207kms. After landing you can take any source like bus, car, jeep, etc.
By train:
Your place to Dehradun railway station 201kms. After reaching the station, you can take a bus or another option to reach Dodital.

we can travel by bus or by our vehicle to our place to Uttarkashi. After reaching Uttarkashi you can take a jeep or start trekking.
By jeep:
Jeep ride is also available which takes you to sangam chatty village and from there Dodital is left about 21kms. After reach to Sangam chatti you can start trekking to Dodital.
