Baba Kedarnath’s Panchmukhi Floating Vigraha celebration doli, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, will arrive in Kedarpuri on Thursday. Doli arrived in Gaurikund from Phata on Wednesday for the night.
Doli was greeted with flowers and Akshat by devotees at various stages. The atmosphere was filled with Baba’s cheers among the melodious waves of the Maratha regiment’s band during this time.
On May 2, Doli departed Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, his winter abode, for Kedarpuri. Doli spent the night at Phata on Tuesday. Chief Priest T. Gangadhar Linga performed a special Panchmukhi Doli puja for Baba on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m., and the Doli thereafter left for Gaurikund. Doli arrived late in the evening in Gaurikund after passing through Barasu, Sersi, Rampur, Sitapur, and Sonprayag. Doli will arrive in Kedapuri on Thursday, and the Dham’s doors will be legally opened at 6:25 a.m on May 6.
Panchkedar Cultural Forum had held a Bhajan Sandhya the night before. Folk singers Vikram Kaprawan, Kuldeep Kaprawan, Poonam Sati, and Suman Singh Rauthan performed Baba’s bhajans at this time. The Kedar Ghati Hotel Association, on the other hand, planned a Bhandara for the devotees.
Baba Tungnath’s Festive Doli will arrive in Chopta
The third Lord Tungnath’s mobile Vigraha Utsav Doli stayed at the Bhootnath temple in Makkumath on Wednesday in Panchkedar. On Thursday, Doli will arrive in Chopta and sit in Tungnath shrine on May 6.
On the Yamunotri Road, there was a Three-hour traffic Jam
As soon as the Gangotri and Yamunotri Dhams in Uttarkashi were uncovered, the trek began to gain momentum. Both dhams had a large gathering of pilgrims on the first day. Its potential was also seen on Wednesday morning’s travel routes. On the Yamunotri National Highway, there were traffic jams in numerous areas. The worst condition was in a six-kilometer stretch between Orchha and Junglechatti.
