These companies will operate helicopter services in Kedarnath according to the weather during the rainy season.
Administration plan for monsoon season
With the onset of monsoon season in Uttarakhand, rain has broken as a disaster. In such a situation, the biggest challenge before the government will be the successful operation of Char Dham Yatra because after the end of the peak season of the yatra, there has been a decrease in the number of passengers in the monsoon season, but the government wants that this time in the monsoon season also the number of passengers will be four. More and more should be motivated for Dham Yatra so that the number of passengers remains good. Therefore, the government is preparing a new plan for the Char Dham Yatra in the monsoon season.
Heli services will continue in Kedarnath
The tourism department, in coordination with the disaster management, has made all the preparations for the Chardham Yatra. Along with the control room, other arrangements have been completed. This time the tourism department has made special preparations for Kedarnath Dham. Helicopters will operate in Kedarnath according to the weather for the passengers even in the monsoon season. Two helicopter companies will provide their services in Kedarnath till July 10, but even after that the tourism department has urged the helicopter companies to operate helicopters in Kedarnath after seeing the weather. Along with this, Secretary Tourism Dilip Jawalkar said that in view of the Char Dham Yatra, two helicopters have also been hired in which one helicopter will be in standby in Dharchula and the other in Dehradun. So that all arrangements can be made in case of emergency.
Preparation in view of monsoon season
The tourism department believes that the peak season of travel is over, but this time the number of passengers is expected to be very good during the rainy season, so all arrangements are being made for the travelers during the monsoon season. In view of the disaster, all the officers have been asked to keep the arrangements of their department in the Char Dham Yatra. Every arrangement is being made for this.
Devotees become less in monsoon
After the disaster in Kedarnath in the year 2013, the number of passengers in the Chardham Yatra was negligible during the rainy season, while for the last 2 years due to Corona, the yatra could not be operated properly, but this time Kedarnath Dham in the monsoon season. The tourism department wants to motivate the travelers for Char Dham Yatra by operating helicopter services in the state, before that heli services were not operated in Kedar Valley in monsoon.
