Dhanaulti is a small and beautiful town in Uttarakhand which is near of queen of hills (Mussoorie). It is covered with lush thick trees, mountains, and more alluring views. Dhanaulti, which is 27 km from Mussoorie and 60 km from Dehradun. 2250 meters in height from sea level. The view of Dhanaulti is evergreen in every season but it is the most popular tourist destination in winter as the snow enhances its beauty which attracts tourists in numbers.

Eco Park is the most famous park among tourists due to its amazing view. Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) developed and maintained the Amber and Dhara, both referred to as twin parks. Surkanda Devi Temple is one of the oldest religious and prestigious temples of Uttarakhand. This temple is devoted to Maa Sati also called Parvati. To reach Surkanda Devi Temple trekking must be done by devotees from Kaddukhal up to 2 km uphill.

How to reach Dhanaulti

To reach Dhanaulti there are many ways as it is in hill station which connects many other places. From Dehradun to Dhanaulti it is 60 km and from Rishikesh, it is 68 km.

By road

From Dehradun and Rishikesh one can reach by taxi, bus, and cab to Dhanaulti. A person can take their vehicle to Dhanaulti.

By train

After reaching the railway stations of Dehradun, a taxi can get easily from a station or can book a cab to reach Dhanaulti. After reaching Haridwar stations, take a bus, taxi, or cab to reach Dehradun and from Dehradun, you can get a bus, taxi, or cab to reach Dhanaulti.

By Air

Jolly grant airport is the only airport in Dehradun. From Dehradun airport, taxis, buses, and cabs are easily available to Dehradun, and from Dehradun, one can get public buses to Dhanaulti or can book cabs too.

Best time to visit Dhanaulti

Tourists considered visiting here in winter because snowfall makes this place astonishing. From November to February, the crowd can be noticed. Some who wants to avoid crowd can visit in April, May, and June, these months are also considered the best months to visit.
