Lakshman Jhula
The Lakshman Jhula is a well-known hanging bridge across the Ganga that connects two villages: Tapovan in the Tehri Garhwal district and Jonk in the Pauri Garhwal district. The entire bridge is made of iron, is 450 feet long, and is located 70 feet above the river .The Lakshman Jhula is popular among tourists because it is believed that Lord Lakshman, Lord Rama’s younger brother, crossed the Ganga at this location.The bridge was completed in 1929, and it now serves as an adjoining bridge across the river, alongside the old route to the sacred shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath.

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

Ram Jhula Rishikesh
Ram Jhula is a beautiful iron suspension bridge at Muni-Ki-Reti.This significant landmark was built in 1986 by PWD and it is slightly longer in length than Lakshman Jhula.
The bridge crosses the river from west to east, connecting the Sivananda Nagar area of Muni Ki Reti in Tehri Garhwal district to Swargashram in Pauri Garhwal district.It was previously a hanging jute ropeway, but in 1980, PWD built a permanent iron suspension bridge. The Ram Jhula, which is frequently crowded with saints, sages, and devotees coming from all over the world, There are temples and ashram on both sides of the bridge.

Triveni Ghat
Triveni Ghat is located on the banks of the sacred Ganges. main daily event of the attraction is the evening Aarti of Goddess Ganga, also known as “Maha Aarti.” During aarti, you can see devotees praying. It is believed that those who take a dip in Triveni Ghat will be relief from all sins committed.
Devotees make numerous offerings at Triveni Ghat, including offering milk to the river early in the morning at sunrise and happily feeding the fish in the Ghat. After the sunset, an impressive view of lamps floated in the river as part of the aarti ceremony is pleasing to the eyes.
