After two years, in the Chardham Yatra, which started without any restrictions, devotees are getting such a rally that there is no place to keep sesame in the four Dhams. After fixing the number of passengers per day, all the slots are filled. Due to slot flowering, the registration of passengers has been stopped at both the centers of Haridwar.
For Badrinath Dham, up to 25 slots are full and for Gangotri, Yamunotri and Baba Kedarnath, one will have to wait till June 9. In such a situation, a large number of pilgrims have camped in Haridwar, the gateway of Chardham Yatra, while many people have returned due to lack of time.
On May 3, the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand started. From the very first day, thousands of devotees from all over the country and abroad started arriving for the Yatra. At first, different claims were being made by the government to limit the number of passengers every day.
16 thousand in Badrinath, 13 thousand in Kedranath, eight thousand in Gangotri and five thousand in Yamunotri are being registered for darshan in a day.
Counters are open at Railway Station and District Tourism Development Office for online registration of passengers in Haridwar. Registrations are closed in Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri till 9th June due to slot full. But from Wednesday, the registrations were closed for Badrinath Yatra as well due to slots being full till May 25. Haridwar is the gateway to the Chardham Yatra.
