These devotees, who came from Kolhapur in Maharashtra, are returning after performing Jalabhishek to Baba in the month of Sawan. They believe that reaching such a distance by bicycle to see Lord Kedarnath is a matter of pride in itself. It is clear from this how much faith people have towards Kedarnath.

Kedarnath’s journey is difficult
The most difficult journey among the Chardham is considered to be that of Lord Kedarnath. Kedarnath 22 km from Sonprayag is a steep climb on foot. The journey to Baba Kedarnath becomes even more difficult when it is the rainy season. There is fog all around and it rains day and night. It is often raining stones from the mountains and the river drains are in spate. The roads here are completely bumpy and damaged. Waterfalls keep coming out of the hills all around.
