MANDANI VALLEY
Mandani valley, a trail to heaven, is situated in western Garhwal region of Uttarakhand in Rudraprayag district. It is an uncommon and isolated spot of western Garhwal region and a part of pleasing kedarnath wildlife sanctuary. Mandani valley is known for trekking, mythology, valley, meadows and flowers. It is a base of Mandani peak.
MANDANI VALLEY TREK
Mandani valley trek is a toughest trek of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. This trek is for people who are challenging and adventurous and experienced. Trek starts from Ransi village, 20kms from ukhimath and ends in Gaurikund after visiting kedarnath Dham.
Mandani valley comes after crossing 3 high altitude cols– yeonkuk col (4663 mts), mahapanth col (4602 mts) and basali (4750 mts) the highest one. It is 35 kms from Ransi village and 55kms from Ukimath. Trek to Mandani valley takes you to the track connecting Madhmaheshwar which then connects to Kedarnath at Chaurakhambi glacier, starting point of river Mandakini.

- during saavan (mid of july), local villagers and devotee take the statue of mandani goddess to mandana bugyal. Yatra starts from rakeshwari temple to mandana bugyal.
History
There’s an ancient temple in Mandani bugyal near the Usha river. It is said that, goddess Durga killed mahishasur there and buried him into the earth then She took the shape of the rock and decided to sit on him forever. That rock still remains at the same place.
In mahabharat, it is said that pandavas crossed it when they were on their final journey to swargarohi.

BY AIR- nearest airport is jollygrant airport. From there take a cab or bus or own vehicle and take a drive to ransi villege. From ransi trek to Mandani valley.
BY TRAIN- nearest railway station is rishikesh railway station. From there take a cab or bus or own vehicle and take a drive to Ransi villege. From there trek to Mandani valley.
BY ROAD- reach rishikesh and from there take a cab or bus or own vehicle and take a drive to Ransi villege. From there trek to Mandani valley.

DAY 5: Thouli – Dagla bugyal (3505 mts)
Via Dwarapass & Dwara top (4150 mts)
Time – 7 hours.
DAY 6: Dagla bugyal – Mandani valley (3550 mts)
via Dubra top (3750 mts)
Time – 5 hours.
DAY 7: Mandani valley – Yembuk col base camp (4130 mts)
DAY 8: Yembuk col base camp – Mahapanth col base camp (4450 mts)
via Yembuk col (4635 mts)
Time – 7 hours
DAY 9: Mahapanth col base camp – kedarnath (3380 mts)
via Mahapanth col (4602 mts)
Stay in kedarnath.
DAY 10: Kedarnath – Gaurikund (16 kms)
Trek to gaurikund or you can also book a helicopter ride or horse ride.
Stay in Gaurikund.
DAY 11: Gaurikund – rishikesh
Book a cab or take a bus. Reach rishikesh.
