In the Rudraprayag area of Uttarakhand, India, there is a famed Hindu pilgrimage destination called the Kedarnath Temple. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located at an elevation of roughly 3,583 metres (11,755 feet) among the beautiful Himalayan range.

The Pandavas, the famous protagonists of the Hindu epic Mahabharata, are thought to have constructed the temple. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas, which are regarded as Lord Shiva’s most sacred homes, is this one.

Ancient tales connect the Kedarnath Temple’s beginnings, which go back thousands of years, to the Pandavas from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. After the epic Kurukshetra War, it is thought that they constructed the temple as a gift to Lord Shiva in order to obtain his blessings and pardon.
