According to legend God Chandradev prayed for years in order to absolve his sins. Also, it is believed that Lord Ram prayed here to Lord Shiva after killing Ravana.
Chorabari Lake:
This place is also called Gandhi Sarvor, since some of Mahtama Gandhi’s ashes were immersed here. Also, it is said Lord Shiva shared the knowledge of Yoga to the Saptrishis here.
Guptakashi:
This is the very place where Lord Shiva hid from the Pandavas after they came from the war of Mahabharat.
Syalsur:
On the banks of Mandakani River, this place is a haven for birds and bird lovers.
