Dehradun: Worshipers waiting at Sonprayag Gaurikund and Janakichatti continued their pilgrimage to Char Dham this morning with additional weather permits for Himalayan temples. The pilgrimage to Sardam Marg has been postponed for a second day on Tuesday due to snow and rain. Worshipers said the weather at Kedarnath-Badrinath temple was improving today and devotees should wait en route to Sonpriyag Gaurikund and Janakich temples on Tuesday for safety reasons. The restart of the helicopter services has led to a huge relief among the visitors who were planning a helicopter trip with family due to the jams inhibiting the chardham roadways.

 

Chardham yatra this year has been a handful due to the harsh weather conditions as well as the overcrowding of the dhams but after the long wait the conditions are finally getting better for the hopeful visitors who want to travel.
