Weahter changes in Kedarnath

Kedarnath Yatra Temperatue changes

Since the opening of the doors, the weather in Kedarnath is taking a tough test, the temperature is coming down below zero as the cold increases

The mood of the weather in Kedarnath is taking a severe test of the administration as well as the devotees. It has been raining daily since the opening of the doors on May 6. Due to this the cold has increased a lot and the temperature is also reaching below zero. In such a situation, a large number of devotees are falling prey to hypothermia. In the last four days, more than two thousand such devotees have been treated.

The devotees of the country and the world are very excited about the Chardham Yatra which came in its grand form after two years. On an average, 20 thousand devotees are reaching Kedarnath every day to have darshan of Baba. But, their biggest problem is due to the change of weather. Due to the rain every day, the cold has increased a lot in Kedarpuri.
And during the night the temperature is reaching minus six degrees.

However, for the convenience of the passengers, the administration team is continuously patrolling at night as well. If a devotee has health problems, the police team is immediately taking him to the hospital. The police is also handling the responsibility of transporting the pilgrims reaching the Dham to their hotels.

Specialist doctors associated with Six Sigma, providing free services in Kedarpuri, are constantly monitoring the situation. Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, in-charge of Six Sigma told that a large number of patients are reaching him even at night. He is being treated immediately. On the other hand, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit says that the administration and police teams have been deployed on the footpath including Kedarnath so that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. The effort is that no devotee should be deprived of treatment due to deteriorating health.
